Small Prop Aircraft

Propeller aircraft are a great choice for those short to mid-distance trips. Small prop aircraft can operate in and out of regional airports with short runways, as well as this they can also cruise at speeds of 300 knots and non-stop ranges of around 1,500 miles. The average flight duration of small prop aircraft is approximately 3 hours.

The King Air – This aircraft has 8 seats, a range of 1500nm and can reach a speed of up to 226kts.

Diamond Twin Star – This aircraft has 3 seats, a range of 1129nm and can reach a speed of up to 132kts.

Pilatus PC-12 – With 6 seats and a range of 1845nm this aircraft can reach a speed of 285kts.

Small Jets

Small jets are perfect for city hop trips, with average cruising speeds of 400 knots and ranges of 1700 miles; small jets can travel further and faster whilst maintaining a high level of efficiency.

Citation Mustang – This small jet has 4 seats and a range of 1050nm. The Citation Mustang can reach speeds of up to 330kts.

Learjet 35A – The Learjet 35A is amongst the fastest small jets available, with 7 seats and a range of 1900nm, the Learjet 35A can reach speeds of up to 418kts.

 Phenom 300 – This small jet has 7 seats and a range of 1800nm. The Phenom 300 can reach speeds of up to 450kts.

Medium Jets

Medium jets are the most popular type of private jet and are a cost-effective way to travel. Medium jets can hold up to 8 passengers and cruise at speeds of up to 450-500 knots. Medium jets offer a flight range between 1000 and 3000nm.

Hawker 600 – The Hawker 600 can fit up to 8 passengers, reach speeds of 400kts and has a range of 1090nm.

Citation XLS – The Citation XLS has 8 seats and a range of 1850nm. This medium jet can reach speeds of up to 420kts.

Learjet 60 – This medium jet can fit up to 7 passengers, reach a speed of 447kts and has a range of 2200nm.

 Long-Range Jets

Long-range jets are suitable for medium length to long range flights. Cruising at speeds over 450 knots and a non-stop range of over 5000 miles, long-range jets travel faster and further.

Global Express – The Global Express is one of the more popular long-range jets. With 14 seats and a range of 5320nm, the Global Express can reach a speed of 511kts.

Gulfstream G550 – With 15 seats and a range of 6750nm, the Gulfstream G550 can reach speeds of up to 500kts.

 Falcon 2000DX – The Falcon 2000DX can reach speeds of up to 430kts and has a range of 2975nm. This large jet can fit up to 10 passengers.

Large & Regional Airliners

Regional airliners are designed to fly 20-300 passengers, removing the hassle of transporting large numbers of clients and employees through public airport terminals.

Boeing Business Jet – The BBJ can usually seat between 25 and 50 passengers within a luxurious configuration. It can reach speeds of 470kts and has a range of over 6,200 nautical miles.

Boeing 737 – The 737 has developed into a family of thirteen passenger models with capacities from 85 to 215 passengers. The 737 boasts speeds of 506kts and has a range of over 3,000 nautical miles.

Airbus A380 – The A380 is a double-deck, wide-body, four-engine jet airliner that can hold up to 853 passengers. The maximum speed of an Airbus A380 is 550kts and has a range of 8208 nautical miles.

Helicopters

Helicopters typically hold 4-7 seats and offer a level of flexibility not commonly found with fixed-wing aircraft, the most notable advantage being point-to-point travel.

Eurocopter AS350 – The AS350 is a single-engine light utility helicopter that can hold 4-6 passengers. It can travel in speeds of 156kts and has a range of 357 nautical miles.

Eurocopter AS355 – With a capacity of up to 5 passengers, the AS355 is a twin-engine light utility helicopter that travels in ranges up to 380 nautical miles and speeds of 150kts.

Sikorsky S-76 – The S-76 is an American medium-size commercial utility helicopter that can hold up to 12 passengers. The maximum speed of the S-76 is 155kts and has a range of 410 nautical miles.
